Sunrisers Hyderabad have reportedly sent the entire team to Maldives for a mid-season vacation amid IPL 2025. Pat Cummins and co. have only managed to win three out of nine games played so far and are hanging by a thread from being eliminated. SRH will next play GT on May 2, nearly a week after their last encounter against CSK.
SRH go on mid-season vacation
As per reports, the entire SRH team, including the support staff members, have flown to Maldives for a “retreat”. The team picked up their third win of the season after defeating CSK in Chennai for the first-time ever by 5 wickets on Friday. SRH are currently placed 8th on the points table with 6 points to their name.
Pat Cummins and co. will need to win all their remaining five matches in order to stand a chance of making it to the IPL 2025 playoffs. It is pertinent to point out that SRH were runners-up in the previous edition of the tournament.
Earlier, skipper Pat Cummins sparked rumours of leaving the team mid-way through IPL 2025. His wife Becky took to Instagram to post a story of the duo at the airport with a caption, ” “Goodbye India. We have loved visiting this beautiful country.”
