He finished the season as GT’s highest run-getter, having scored 88 fours and 21 sixes. He also finished as the batter who scored the most fours in this season.
Sai, Gill and Buttler etched their names in the history books of IPL by becoming the only trio from an team to go past 500 runs each in an IPL season.

Sudharsan was retained by GT for Rs 8.50 crore by GT ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. He managed to justify his price tag with his performances from domestic tournaments spilling into the IPL as well. As a result, he earned his maiden call-up to the Indian Test squad for the upcoming five-match series against England.
