El RCB RCB perdido es continuo, con una derrota directa en el hogar que muestra sus problemas en la normalización IPL 2025.
In the IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are having a tough time at their home ground, Chinnaswamy Stadium. They’ve lost all three matches they’ve played there, which is a stark contrast to their success in away games. Ahead of their match against Rajasthan Royals on April 24, Anil Kumble shared his thoughts on the team’s home struggle.
RCB need to assess the pitch
Anil Kumble stressed the need for RCB to better understand the Chinnaswamy pitch. He believes that properly assessing the pitch is crucial for setting a competitive total when batting first. “Batting first, they have not been great at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and when they have runs on the board, it probably gets the best out of their batters. Assessing that pitch is really important, and they have not been able to do that while batting first,” said Kumble.
RCB vs RR: A test for Rajat Patidar & Riyan Parag
Looking ahead, RCB will face Rajasthan Royals, who will be without their injured captain Sanju Samson. Riyan Parag will lead the team in his absence. Despite their home struggles, the Rajat Patidar-led RCB managed to dominate Rajasthan away in Jaipur, securing a victory by 9 wickets with strong performances from Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, and Devdutt Padikkal.
It remains to be seen if RCB can turn their home fortunes around by mastering the pitch at Chinnaswamy and secure a much-needed win against Rajasthan Royals.
Chance to climb in the standings
RCB currently holds the 4th position in the league table with 10 points from 8 games. A win against Rajasthan could help them move up to 2nd place, overtaking Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, who are currently in the 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
