After 70 games, the IPL 2025 playoffs fixtures are finally out. Punjab Kings will face off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1, while Gujarat Titans will face Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator. Both games will be played at the New PCA Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.

Punjab Kings sealed their spot at the top of the IPL 2025 standings with 9 wins in 14 games. The Shreyas Iyer led outfit needed to beat Mumbai Indians in Jaipur to seal their place in the Qualifier 1. That PBKS achieved in style to earn two chances to reach the final. It is Punjab’s first playoff appearance in 11 years, and now Shreyas Iyer and Co have two chances to reach the final. Shreyas guided KKR to a Top 2 finish last year and won them their first title in a decade. Kings, who have never won the IPL, will hope that Iyer can repeat those heroics this year as well.

RCB needed a win in their final game against LSG to reach the Qualifier 1. Chasing 228, Virat Kohli and Jitesh Sharma starred to see their side over the line. Like Punjab Kings, RCB have never won the title since the tournament’s inception. Both teams will have two chances to reach the final and have a shot at ending their title drought.

IPL 2025 playoffs: GT vs MI in Eliminator

The defeat to Punjab Kings meant that Hardik Pandya and Co will feature in the Eliminator. After a slow start to the season, MI found some form and guaranteed themselves a spot in the Top 4 with a game to go. The 5-time champions will now need to win 2 more games to reach another IPL final.

Gujarat Titans were dependent on the LSG vs RCB to know their playoff fixture. The Shubman Gill led side could have guaranteed a top 2 finish with a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their final game. However, the 2022 champions slumped to a 110-run defeat in Ahmedabad. The winner of the GT vs MI game will proceed to the Qualifier 2, where they face off against the loser of PBKS vs GT. The Qualifier 2 and IPL 2025 final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
