Mukesh Kumar gets disheartened over India’s snub?

India pacer Mukesh Kumar, who is not part of the squad for the five-Test series against England, appeared to express his emotions through a cryptic Instagram story on Tuesday. Just two days before the first Test in Leeds, Mukesh posted, “Karma bides its time. You will always have to watch out. Karma is unforgiving and always gets payback.”

The post came just a day after Harshit Rana was added to India’s senior squad, despite an underwhelming performance in the first unofficial Test against England Lions. Rana, part of the India A team, picked just one wicket in Canterbury but was drafted into the main squad, as confirmed by the BCCI.

Mukesh, meanwhile, had a decent outing in the same game, picking up three wickets. However, he was dropped for the second unofficial Test in Northampton and did not feature in the intra-squad match in Kent either, leaving him sidelined just before the main series.

Mukesh recently featured in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he played 12 matches for the Delhi Capitals and took 12 wickets.
