La versión RR de RR los ha dejado en la octava tabla de notas, con solo cuatro puntos de nueve juegos.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) CEO Jake Lush McCrum found himself in the spotlight after RR’s crushing 12-run defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2025. Following the loss at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, a viral video captured McCrum walking briskly toward Tonique, a well-known liquor store in central Bengaluru. The footage, recorded by an RCB fan, quickly spread across social media, sparking speculation about whether he was looking to drown his sorrows after RR’s fifth consecutive defeat.

RR CEO hits liquor store after RCB vs RR IPL match

The match itself was a heartbreaking one for Rajasthan Royals. Chasing a target of 206, RR seemed to be in control early on, thanks to a blistering 49 off 19 balls from Yashasvi Jaiswal. However, the middle order faltered, and despite Dhruv Jurel’s composed 47 off 34 balls, RR fell short, finishing at 194/9. This loss equaled RR’s worst losing streak in IPL history, previously recorded in 2009.

McCrum’s liquor store visit added an off-field twist to RR’s struggles. While fans debated whether it was just a routine stop or a reaction to the defeat, the timing made it a talking point. RR’s poor form has left them languishing at eighth place on the points table, with only four points from nine matches. With a tough fixture against table-toppers Gujarat Titans coming up, RR will need a dramatic turnaround to salvage their season.
