The Punjab Kings (PBKS) have done it. Shreyas Iyer has done it. The new ‘Captain Cool’ sailed PBKS past the Mumbai Indians (MI) to register Punjab’s first-ever final after 11 years. He played one of the best IPL innings under pressure to secure a spot to play RCB in the IPL 2025 final. Apart from this, various news flooded in, including Mayank Yadav trying to do what Jasprit Bumrah did, albeit off the field. Moreover, star Indian batter Rinku Singh’s marriage details have come in. Also, did Virat Kohli bail himself out of trouble by retiring from Tests? Catch this and much more below.

IPL 2025 Final set
It’ll be Punjab Kings (PBKS), who will face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 Final on June 3. Thanks to a captain’s knock from Shreyas Iyer, PBKS were able to beat the Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets and reach their second IPL Final after an 11-year gap.

Mayank Yadav update
Mayank Yadav will consult a medical specialist in New Zealand to deal with his recurring back injury. Jasprit Bumrah had his back operated on after facing issues as well. And had travelled to New Zealand as well. Mayank had returned to cricket after a 5-month hiatus and only managed to play just 2 matches before getting injured again.
