Jasprit Bumrah se complace en ser parte de una serie de cinco juicios contra Inglaterra y bolos con una bola de prueba, incluso si no es parte de toda la prueba
India cricket team pacer Jasprit Bumrah is excited to bowl in the swinging conditions that England has to offer in the upcoming five-match Test series. The tour will mark the return of the veteran to the longest format of the game following his injury in the 5th Test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Although Bumrah won’t play all five Tests, he is looking forward to bowling in what he has dubbed as challenging conditions in the UK.
Bumrah can’t wait for England tour
In the Beyond 23 Cricket podcast with Michael Clarke, Bumrah claimed that that playing in England was always a different challenge, noting that he love bowing with the Dukes ball. He said that he was looking forward to playing in England although he admitted that he doesn’t know how the ball was doing now due to constant changes to the ball.
“Playing in England is always a different challenge. But I don’t know how much the Dukes ball is doing right now because there’s always constant changes to the ball. But the weather, the swinging conditions. And then when the ball becomes soft, there’s always a challenge. So I always look forward to playing in England,” Bumrah said.
In England, Bumrah has 37 wickets to his name from 9 matches and averages 26.27. He has two five-wicket hauls to his name while playing in the UK. Incidentally, he has been the least economical while playing in England among other countries.
“They’re playing an interesting style of cricket which is interesting because I don’t really understand it too much,” Bumrah said. “But as a bowling unit, we always feel confident that when the batters are being ultra-aggressive, on a given day, anybody could run through and get wickets,” Bumrah added.
The five-match Test series against England will begin from June 20.
