Harmanpreet Kaur and co. are facing off against Sri Lanka in the first game of the Tri-Nation series. INDW won the toss and decided to bowl first in the rain-hit tie in Colombo.

Pahalgam terror attack: India Women pay homage to victims

India women’s cricket team, led by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, were seen sporting black armbands during the game. They are doing so to show their respect and solidarity for the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. 26 people were repotedly killed after terrorists opened fire on tourists in J&K’s Pahalgam.

The rain-hit tie has been reduced to 39 overs a side. Sree Charani and Kashvee Gautam will be making their debuts in the contest.
