The victorious Royal Challengers Bengaluru team will celebrate their maiden IPL title win with fans in Karnataka’s capital on Wednesday. RCB ended a 17-year-long wait to lift the trophy by defeating Punjab Kings in the IPL 2026 final by six runs. Rajat Patidar and co. will return to Bengaluru on Wednesday to take part in a series of events to celebrate their win.
RCB’s celebrations: Full schedule
- Visit Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah at the Vidhan Soudha – 4-5 PM
- Open top bus parade from Vidhan Soudha to M Chinnaswamy stadium
- Celebration event at M Chinnaswamy stadium – 6 PM
RCB vs PBKS, IPL 2025 final
Punjab Kings lost by 6 runs as they failed to chase down 191-run target. Shashank Singh remained unbeaten on 61 off 30 balls but it wasn’t enough. Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 190/9 after being sent to bat. Virat Kohli top-scored with 43 while there were contributions from Jitesh Sharma, Mayank Agarwal and Liam Livingstone. Arshdeep Singh bagged three wickets in the final over while Kyle Jamieson scalped three wickets for 48 runs. Earlier, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first. Both teams went unchanged with Tim David missing out for RCB with an injury.
