Se espera que Josh Hazlewood se conecte con RCB en esta semana, antes de su juego de la liga de último viaje

In what will be a big boost for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Josh Hazlewood is all set to join the team soon. RCB have already qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs and will take on SRH on May 23 and LSG on May 27 in the final league stage match on May 23. Hazlewood, who missed the last two matches due to a shoulder niggle, is all set to return to action and has reportedly commenced bowling in the nets.

Hazlewood boost for RCB in IPL 2025 playoffs

As per various reports, Hazlewood is expected to link up with RCB by this weekend. He has reportedly been training at Cricket Australia’s Centre of Excellence in Brisbane. However, the Australian pacer will not be available for the clash against SRH on Friday and will only join the side just before the IPL 2025 playoffs.

Hazlewood has been RCB’s best bowler in this season so far. He has taken 18 wickets so far and averages 17.27. Meanwhile, on Monday, RCB announced that Lungi Ngidi will be replaced by Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarabani as the former will return to South Africa for national duties.

With the likes of Jacob Bethell, Phil Salt and Ngidi set to leave the team before the playoffs, Hazlewood is the exact boost that RCB need.

RCB vs SRH match rescheduled

Taking the weather in Bengaluru into account, SRH has been told to stay put in Lucknow. The Pat Cummins-led team faced Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on May 19 and was going to fly out to Bengaluru. But the BCCI has told them to remain in Lucknow.

“The TATA IPL Match No. 65 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has been relocated to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow due to unfavourable weather conditions in Bengaluru,” the BCCI informed on May 20.
