IPL 2025 Último desde Ahmedabad desde Kolkata, Mullelanpur a Khabarovsk 1, Eliminador

“It’s not easy to shift venues,” former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly declared only a day ago after reporters asked him about the IPL final moving to Ahmedabad from Kolkata. However, it seems like BCCI has made that easy choice, keeping Kolkata’s weather conditions in mind. The IPL 2025 Final will now be shifted to Ahmedabad from the original venue, Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

In addition, Mullanpur will get the hosting rights for Qualifier 1 and Eliminator before the caravan moves to Ahmedabad. As per a Cricbuzz report, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will also host Qualifier 2 apart from the final.

IPL 2025 playoff schedule

• May 29: Qualifier 1 – Mullanpur
• May 30: Eliminator – Mullanpur
• June 1: Qualifier 2 – Ahmedabad
• June 3: Final – Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad to host 3rd final

This will be the third time that the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the IPL final. The venue hosted the final in 2022, 2023 and this time. Traditionally, the final is played at the home ground of the defending champions. Since Chennai Super Kings were the defending champions last season. Chennai hosted the final.

This time, Kolkata Knight Riders are defending champions. Hence, they get the hosting rights. However, with the monsoon hitting Indian shores early, things have changed. The IPL 2025 final was originally scheduled for May 25.

But with the IPL suspended for 9 days due to India-Pakistan tensions, the BCCI announced a revised schedule sans the playoff venues. With rain predicted across South Indian states and Eastern states, the BCCI will now move the final to a safer location in Ahmedabad.

Mullanpur, Punjab Kings’ home ground, has hosted four matches this season. PBKS opted to play the remaining matches in Dharamsala, which had to be shifted in light of the India-Pakistan tensions. Now, Mullanpur will get to host its first Qualifier and Eliminator.

Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings have sealed their playoff spots. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are fighting for the remaining spot. If PBKS manage a Top-2 finish, they will play Qualifier 1 at their home ground.
