Para crecer la campaña más que un campo de cricket, KKR usará una capa Shahoshi de Shahoshi de Shahoshi.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to showcase their commitment to community empowerment and celebrate everyday heroes through their Shahoshi Rani initiative in IPL 2025. This meaningful campaign honors women who have demonstrated extraordinary bravery, resilience, and determination in overcoming challenges.
The Shahoshi Ranis will take center stage when defending champions KKR face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Eden Gardens on May 7, reinforcing the franchise’s message of strength, inspiration, and inclusivity in sports. As part of the initiative, 40 Shahoshi Ranis will attend KKR’s practice session, where they will witness the team’s preparations, interact with players and coaching staff, and engage with franchise co-owner Juhi Chawla, who will personally meet these inspiring women.
To extend the campaign beyond the cricket field, KKR will wear practice jerseys featuring the Shahoshi Rani logo on the back. In a special tribute, each player and member of the support staff will carry the names of individual Shahoshi Ranis beneath the logo, signifying a personal connection between the team and the women they are celebrating.
Additionally, the team will document key moments from the practice session, capturing the inspiring interactions between players and the Shahoshi Ranis. These heartfelt stories will be shared across digital platforms, bringing the essence of the initiative to a broader audience and reinforcing the message of courage and empowerment.
Speaking about the initiative, Juhi Chawla, Co-Owner of Kolkata Knight Riders said, “Shahoshi Rani is more than just a campaign, it’s a celebration of real courage. These women are an inspiration, and we are honored to share our platform with them. We hope their stories move others as much as they’ve moved us.“
