The 2025 Met Gala is almost here — and several celebrities are eager to show off their customized looks.
This year’s Met Gala, which will take place on Monday, May 5, at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, will follow the theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which focuses on Black dandyism. The event cochairs joining Anna Wintour include Pharrell Williams, ASAP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo and LeBron James.
Alongside cochairs, for the first time since 2019, there will be a host committee which includes stars such as André 3000, Dapper Dan, Doechii, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Lee, Tonya Lewis Lee, Audra McDonald, Janelle Monáe, Tyla, Usher and more.
While some celebrities’ attendance remains unknown such as Beyoncé and Blake Lively, many stars have confirmed they are set to come.
In April, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, confirmed that she would be showing up at the Met Gala.
“We are going to be on the Met Gala steps,” Roach told E! News at the time, noting that they would be arriving separately this time. “We’re doing our own thing this year which is exciting.”
Other reported guests include Mary J. Blige, Lizzo, Shakira, Ashley Graham and Amelia Gray Hamlin.
