Andressesell sugirió un total de 12º en IPL, cuando él era solo su 2025.

Luckily for KKR, Andre ‘the Giant’ Russell finally bounced back to form, that too in a very crucial moment for his team. Playing against RR, the Caribbean all-rounder slammed a 22-ball fifty on Sunday, his first in IPL 2025, in an innings that included six sixes and four boundaries.

Andre Russell Gets to 22-Ball 50

Coming into bat when the team was 111/3, Russell took matters in his own hand, to do some quick scoring. What really worked well for him was, he got an able partner in Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who went on to score 44 only 31 deliveries. He eventually finished with 57 from 25, while Kolkata posted a challenging 206/4 in 20 overs.

That also means, now in 11 matches, Andre Russell has 129 runs to his name, at an average of 18.42, while prior to this innings, he had returned with scores of 17, 21, 17, 7, 1, 5, and 4. With 4 wins in 10 matches, KKR are already in a must-win situation, and Russell’s come back to form is a great blessing for the team, with some of the other batters failing to score big.

KKR in Must-win Situation

The side still has a chance to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs, given they win all their remaining matches. As far as Rajasthan’s bowling in the match is concerned, Jofra Archer returned with figures of 1/30, followed by 1/26 by Yudhvir Singh Charak. Akash Madhwal was damn expensive — with 0/50 in just three overs. Skipper Riyan Parag returned with figures of 1/21.
